What
is ANZ BOOKnPAY?
ANZ BOOKnPAY
is ANZ's Internet based payment solution for major credit cards.
This product is offered to ANZ's Resort Merchants who have the ability
to advertise their accommodation details via the Internet and accept
major credit cards payments once the booking is confirmed.
The
ANZ BOOKnPAY facility is offered via the arrangement between Global
BedBank and ANZ, where Global BedBank offers the booking feature
and ANZ offers the payment solution.
Is
my credit card number safe?
BOOKnPAY uses
the Secure Sockets Layer and Private Communication Technology security
standards that are supported by Microsoft's Internet Explorer 3.0
or later and other popular browsers. SSL encodes your personal information
such as access codes, addresses, and details of your hotel booking.
This encryption make doing business over the Internet as secure
as making a purchase by telephone.
My
browser doesn't resolve to the next step when I click on the first
step of the booking process to check availability?
We recommend
that you use the latest versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape
Navigator. To check the version of your browser, click on the Help
button on the top Menu bar and scroll down to About (name of browser).
This will open up a window displaying the version of the browser
that you are using.
How do I
know that the hotel is holding a booking for me?
The hotel guarantees
your booking once the deposit has been successfully secured via
BOOKnPAY. BOOKnPAY generates an email to the hotel notifying them
of your booking. This is similar to the email confirmation advice
that is sent to your email address.
BOOKnPAY has
in place a cross checking system to ensure that the hotels actually
process your booking into their reservations systems.
What system
requirements do I need?
- The minimum system requirements
to access and use BOOKnPAY are:
- A computer running a Web
browser that supports frames, such as the latest versions of
- Microsoft Internet Explorer
or Netscape Navigator
- Super VGA 256-color monitor
- Mouse or compatible pointing
device
- The amount of RAM recommended
by your Web browser vendor. For example, if you are running Internet
Explorer on Windows 95, you need at least 8MB of RAM.
We also recommend:
- A display resolution of 800x600
or greater.
- A browser supporting Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL), such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or
later.
Will
my credit card be charged if I do not cancel my hotel booking?
Yes it will.
We strongly recommend that you read through the Terms and Conditions
for BOOKnPAY prior to making your booking. The Terms and Conditions
clearly spell out for you the hotel's cancellation policy.
Can I use
more than one credit card to make a booking?
You can use one
credit card to make the initial booking. However if you wish to
make an amendment to your original booking, you may use a different
card.
